F. Matthias Alexander wrote four books and a number of short articles, notes and pamphlets. His writing is not always easy for the modern reader, particularly if he or she has not had much experience with the Alexander Technique. At some point, however, the serious student will probably want to become familiar with Alexander's own words. The Alexander Technilque: The Essential Writings of F. Matthias Alexander, The Use of the Self and The Autohorized Summaries of F. Matthias Alexander's Four Books (see below) are all good places to start.
